Kristi Felts
Director of Permanent Supportive Housing
Brief info
Kristi Felts is the Director of Permanent Supportive Housing. Kristi manages eight Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) grants and one Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) grant. PSH provides rental, utility assistance, and supportive services, optimizing self-sufficiency among 500 chronically homeless individuals and
families annually throughout Delaware. As Director, Kristi is responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal, Continuum of Care, state, and local housing laws, rules, and regulations. Kristi’s experience includes Harm Reduction, Housing First, and Domestic Violence and Victim Safety Protocols.
Over the past 15 years, Kristi has worked with many different populations, one of which included homeless veterans. In 2015, Kristi was one of the first members of a statewide workgroup to participate in the National Mayors Challenge to End Veteran Homelessness. Less than two years later Delaware had effectively ended veteran homelessness. Kristi continues to
focus on ending homelessness and providing quality resources to all.
